Field Experience

  For my 20 Time project i choose to do Dog Training/Communication With Dogs. When i was told we have to have some sort of field experience I knew it was going to be easy for me. The whole reason i choose this as my project is because i love dogs. When i was younger my mom and I rescued two dogs and two cats in completely different ways and different times but it made me understand how much love rescue animals have and are willing to give. For my field experience I talked to the Cedar Vally Humane Society. They are very willing to help me and even sounded excited when i told them it wasent just for a project but i have a puppy of my own im trying to train. They want me to come out to the shelter to play with the dogs and talk with their dog trainer. Im excited to hear from a real dog trainer and learn turns on how to communicate with dogs. I think my dog Koda is excited too.

What a terrific idea for a project for you! I think any of those ideas can work. The YouTube tutorial is very doable. You might also consider how you might use what you have learned and share that with real life human beings? Just a thought. Can't wait to see what you do!

Week One 2/2

My first post..... Lets talk about 20 time, its going to be a big project that we are gonna work on for a long time. My topic i think is going to be on makeup, the history, what its made of, maybe even the differences between drug store and high end products. Now all of this is just an idea i like im still not sure if this is going to be exactly what im gonna do my project over. One of the reasons i think this could be a good project is because as we all know iam very passionate about beauty and everything that comes with it. Another reason is because this project is gonna be something we work on for a long time and this topic can go on forever. The big reason that i think this could work is also the same reason this project could be a tricky one, how to present it. Know something I dont know if i would be comfortable with yet is just doing a video. I have always wanted to do YouTube but i haven't had the resources or the knowledge to do something like that. I think this project can not only help me learn about makeup and videos but if i really liked the end product i could even post it to my channel. I plan to start organizing my time and what I need to do this project with in the next few days which might mean some changes will come to my project. Im excited but nervous about this project at the same time, but knowing all of us students are in the same boat helps a lot.
